Treasure Hunt

This morning my family and I grabbed the map to the “Town Wide Yard Sale” and hopped on our bikes for a treasure hunt.  You never know what you will find at these things; everything from boats to clothes to dolls to kitchen stuff.  What did we end up finding?  The coolest old clock that looked like it had been in a fire.

Burned out clock007

It will never be a clock again, but I have other plans for it.  I have been playing with SteamPunk jewelry; a combination of Victorian and Industrial using romantic Victorian style parts combined with watch gears and cogs.  It is a really interesting style with a lot of room for individual taste!  I am going to gut this treasure and grab as many gears and such as I can…imagination is running wild!

Here is a picture of one of my creations.
